What is a Takedown?
A takedown is the process of removing a release, track, album, EP, or other content from digital streaming platforms and online music stores. Once a takedown request has been processed and approved, the content will be submitted for removal from the selected platforms.
Please note that each platform processes removals on its own timeline, which means your music may disappear from some services before others.
Why Do I Need to Submit a Takedown Request?
To protect artists, rights holders, and listeners, we require all takedown requests to be submitted through our official Takedown Request Form.
The form allows us to collect all the information required to accurately identify your release and process the request as quickly as possible. This includes:
Artist name
Release title
UPC and/or ISRC codes
Store or platform information
Reason for the takedown
Ownership and authorization confirmation
Providing complete and accurate information helps prevent delays and ensures that the correct content is removed.
Common Reasons for Takedowns
Artists and rights holders may request a takedown for various reasons, including:
Releasing an updated or corrected version of a track or album

Important Information Before Requesting a Takedown
Before submitting your request, please be aware that:
Takedowns may result in the loss of streaming history, playlist placements, engagement metrics, and other platform-specific data.
Some stores may take several days or weeks to fully remove content.
Once a takedown has been submitted to stores, it may not be possible to reverse or cancel the request.
You should only submit a takedown request if you are the rights holder or have authorization to act on behalf of the rights holder.
